Harbour Lights Society Piece

Has anyone received their Society Renewal Piece?

No yet! Hopefully Soon!

My guess is we'll get it in 2 or 3 weeks when another shipment arrives in Maine from China.

Should include both CS pieces, Loon Island, Sapalo Front Range, Pottawatomie, and both Long Island LLOM's.

I can't wait !!!

"The membership pieces have been delayed. We are expecting them in mid June. "

Good Monday Morning!

The 2008-09 Harbour Lights collectors' society Replicas are on the water as I write this posting!

All things being equal, we expect delivery in west Kennedbunk, the last week in June.

My expectation is that the "auto-ship" will leave first - immediately followed by the Society Replicas! If all goes as expected, by 3 July we should have everything shipped!

Also the July "Legacy" is written - I expect to edit sometime by the end of this week!

Tony has spent most of the week in the warehouse helping to unload containers and get items ready to ship. In the very brief conversation I had with him he indicated they were trying very hard to get the society kits on their way. Since they use UPS it may be the start of the week before people start to see them. Some of you close by may get them on Thursday if they were successful at getting them sent.

Since I'm new to the autoship's. Do the CS pieces match our autoships, or are they just randomly distributed?

Don't know how they are happening at this point. In the past they have been sent both as matching your autoship and not matching.

Loon - Harbours Lights does not know your autoship number, unless your dealer has informed them that S/N such-n-such is earmarked for you and when you order your Society Pieces through him he must tell HLs what numbers to send. You need to call 1-800-365-1219 and aske for Patty and make sure your record indicates your dealer and your number and that you want your Society Pieces sent with the same number.

Harbour Lights may know my autoship number as this number was recently assigned to my local dealer at my request. BUT, since it was recently assigned, it may be too new for this years CS shipments.

I did call Harbour Lights earlier. Someone was going to get back to me, but since they are probably very busy, and this is a holiday weekend, I don't expect a call till next week.

Not a big deal if I don't get my CS pieces with my autoship number this year, but for next year would be nice.

I'm a member and have been trying to renew my membership to HL Society via the HL website. It's been down and I've been unable to continue my membership, any word when that will be fixed?

Just wondering.

You could also renew through your dealer

My society piece arrived over the weekend while I was out of town. I also received a call from my dealer to say that my redemption piece was at the store.

Well, still no call back yet.

I have received my CS pieces. The membership piece came in Saturdays mail, and I picked up my redemtion piece yesterday. Call from my HL dealer came over the weekend.

I was slightly disapointed, but OK with not getting my autoship number for the CS pieces, as I didn't know to set this up with HL ahead of time. What confuses me and makes me a little bit mad is the numbers I did get. I renewed my membership ASAP via phone when news came that we could. So my expectations were for a 3 digit number. How is it I get 1519 and 1194 ???

I guess if I ever get a call back, I might get an explaination.

The postman delivered my society piece on Friday. Great pictures of both. Can't wait for the purchased piece to arrive.

Well, Friday I went to pick up the redemption piece. When I opened it at the store, I noticed a broken chimney laying in the bottom of the styrofoam. When I pulled the piece out of the plastic bag I could see where the chimney should go. It isn't visible in the picture above but was on the top of the small brown building.

Needless to say, I didn't pay for the piece and will have to wait for a replacement.

My Society piece was at the Post Office when I returned from a ten day trip on Saturday. Picked it up yesterday (Monday). Haven't heard from my dealer as to the arrival of the Redemption piece.
