It's very fitting that this is happening on August 8th since Nancy Younger's birthday is on August 9th and Bill's birthday falls on August 18th.. A triple celebration this August!!!

Hey John - It would also be nice if you got the update to the Forums completed by August 8th so we could have a 4th celebration. When can we expect to have the Forums update completed?

since Nancy Younger's birthday is on August 9th and Bill's birthday falls on August 18th
... and mine is on the 7th and Stan's on the 17th ... so very good timing
When can we expect to have the Forums update completed?
I guess we all are asking this question! Hope it'll work out to be a multiple celebration !!!!

I entered OK, BUT ...
As usual, the fields for the address are impossible to use for anything other the US addresses
Do I take that as a hint? I wonder?
Hope they look on the notes field, where I put the address properly.

I'm entered...terrific prizes.
Only, my address is changing in 8 weeks. Hope that doesn't confuse where my prize is shipped.

Re: 1998-2008 10 Year Anniversary of HarbourLights.com - 08/16/08 05:09 AM
I've communicated with some of those who had the "FrontPage Error..." message. I'll get to the rest of you over the weekend. I tried to figure if it was an issue with your OS or your version of Browser, but it doesn't seem to have any pattern.
In the meantime, if you see an error, you can simply email me with the information that is requested in the form and I'll see you are in the drawing until I can figure out the problem.
If you see the "OK, You're in the drawing" page, your registration was successful.
Thanks and good luck!
P.S. Margret - yes I see your note on the address. 0 :>) Don't forget to have Stan register too.

At the top of the HLs main page next to the contest logo, you'll see "To learn more, click here". This will open a new page and next to the logo it says" click here to enter." And that's all folks.

I believe the problem may have been resolved with a modification John made to the form late yesterday. My tongue in cheek comment was made because the only people who had posted they couldn't register were two saints and a weasel . . .

Re: 1998-2008 10 Year Anniversary of HarbourLights.com - 08/19/08 03:24 AM
The problem had to do with an email function that some browsers didn't like. I disabled the email notification and it works fine now.
Don't worry, your names and details are being collected! (And copies of them will be fowarded to the NSC.)
All Forum members are eligible; it's a Harbour Lights thing, not a Collector Forums thing.
EXCEPT for me.
My 'payoff' has been ongoing for 10 years now. And connecting with all you ighthouse 'nuts', 'wackos', 'afficianados', etc. has been just a super bonus. You're all "Keepers" in my book.
Thanks especially to Harbour Lights, to the Youngers, to Don Devine and to Tony Constantino for their support and for the many great memories going back 10 years.
John

Hope all you breath-holders made it! A few of you can whoop it up now -- and the rest of you can relax until the end of this month when you might be selected for the "Register and Win" monthly drawing here on the Collector Forums -- which are OLDER THAN HARBOURLIGHTS.COM!
The winners have been posted at
www.HarbourLights.com Click on the link at the top of the page to see who won which piece(s).
Congratulations and thanks to the 250 people who registered!
