Hi all,
Yes, I am an information junkie. I always want to know... Some of the HL's that I have bought have tobacco/trading cards with them. But they aren't the same as the light in the box. There are 50 of them. Can anyone tell me about these cards?
Next question is about the Collector's Society...I was expecting a "Meet & Greet" package telling me all about itself. When I received "East Chop" I called LHD, that is where I signed up, to get my membership number. Is that all there is??
Thanks for listening,

Several years ago, Bill and Nancy Younger started putting a tobacco trading card in with each lighthouse as an extra gift when you bought a light. The card that was in with the light was not the same card as the light. You might buy 5 lights and get 2 cards of the same light or you might get 5 different cards. You could also buy the pack of 50 cards all at one time from Harbour Lights.

Joining the Society when it first started gave you the free lighthouse, a society pin, information about the Society, current brochures and a copy of the latest Lighthouse Legacy in black and white and finally color versions and a membership card. I believe all you get now is the free lighthouse and maybe a Society Pin. The Legacy is now online for members and the brochures, membership card and welcome information is a thing of the past.

One word, Rich, "survival". It's better to cut costs than sacrifice quality of the product. I'm sure they are doing what they have to do to keep their head above water.

Does anyone know if the tobacco cards are still available in the pack from Harbour Lights? If so, can you please provide the information needed to get them.

Thanks
Don

The Tobacco Cards are no longer being produced. Leave a message in the Trading Post Forum and another forum member may have a set available to sell.
