Michigan now has a Lighthouse Plate its White Shoal and luckly for me I just got registration for plates today I also have to get a new drivers id, fun fun now have to wait in line to do this.

Do you know if Michigan is planning on selling souvenir plates like Virginia is already doing?

Very nice! I like it. I wish we could convince Wisconsin authorities to put one of our lighthouses on a licence plate.

HOORAY !
Personalized plates (Michigan) have room up to six spaces, so with White Shoal pictured, we would have to change our plates.
and I don't think HE would go for that!

I wish I lived in Michigan! Maybe one day Minnesota would get smart and put Split Rock on one.

In answer to my own question-
My guess, based on reading the website,would be that Michigan is like most states. that is they don't make official plates available as souveniers.
So far Virginia seems to be in a class by itself in this respect.
Probably a good idea, but if they offer it I'll probably buy it.
Ask the question anyway when you go to get your plate, but I won't be surprised by a No.
It's a nice plate.
