Just a couple of questions. - 04/27/06 03:42 AM

I just wanted to ask a couple of questions in case someone knows..

I wanted to know when inflated boats were in use in lighthouses (as life savers), when did they start appearing.

I also wanted to know if anybody knows about a lighthouse that was flooded (back in history possible) in western Europe or in the USA. The lighthouse would be made out of brown bricks in the inside part.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Summer

It sounds like you are trying to trace down an old photograph or a dream. I can get you a large list of lighthouses thru the internet that have flooded but not sure of the color of interior brick.

Ones in U.S. like:

Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, Oregon
Brant Point
Cana island WI
Concord, Maryland
Battery Point, CA
Cedar island, NY
Cove Point, Maryland

Thank you for trying to help..
Yes, I am trying to trace a certain lighthouse. I saw in an out of body experience a past life, I was a lighthouse keeper. I had the captain style beard ( I am a young female now).
I lived in a brown (inside) brick circular lighthouse with my wife and our son (about 20 years old).
All I saw was that it was flooded and I was saving my family leaving all our dear memories behind.
I don’t have a time frame, place or country but I would really like to find that lighthouse.
Any information would be helpful.

Biloxi MS lighthouse has a history of having saved some townspeople during past hurricanes. Don't know about the keeper and family.

Good luck in your search. 0 :>)

So does Bolivar - particularly during The Great Storm of 1900.
