ALF honors some CF members

Ron Foster and Frank Carbone, members of the New England Lighthouse Lovers (NELL) have been honored as Vounteer "Keepers of the Light" by ALF. story from paper .

I know that both Ron and Frank are very active volunteers and contributors to lighthouse preservation. Congratulations to both on this well deserved recognition.

Dear Lighthousing Friends..Now that all the photo-ops, ticker-tape, and personal interviews have died down, I am released to reveal the following---although Ron has deserved this award each year for many years, my selection came about because Tom Kenworthy (NELL's President and nominator)needed a quick loan..and, guess what one of the conditions was!

Lighthouses are saved by teams of lighthouse lovers and there are many members of NELL who deserve recognition for all that they do for lighthouses without fanfare. I am grateful for this honor and the opportunity to be recognized alongside Frank who certainly adds much fun to what we do.
