February Legacy

February Legacy - 02/14/08 05:26 PM

is available. I had an email in my mailbox at work announcing the new issue.

I did notice one error. On page 5, the lighthouse at the top of the page identified as the Plum Island Rear Range lighthouse is really the St. Martin Island lighthouse.

That could have been my fault when I sent them the images but I got it right in the forums..

St. Martin Island Lighthouse is our first lighthouse stop..

I just printed a copy and will be reading it this afternoon.

One question so far:
What are the lighthouses on the front cover?

Thanks for the link Paul!

Looks like like Hospital Point, Chatham, Burnt Island, Owl Head.

Much as I enjoy Paul taking the blame, it is probably actually my fault. Tony sent me a rough mock up of the pages and asked for help identifying the pictures and people. Having to do a very quick turn around and not having the benefit of Paul's full size image, I incorectly identified the light in my note back to Tony. Down side of old, tired eyes looking at a small picture on a small screen....... (hoping that Paul will feel sorry and pass along one of his giant monitors next time he upgrades to a bigger and bigger one...)

As usual, I cannot open the Legacy with my computer. Could someone send me a link that will work?

Well Dave,

Until Paul can arrange to get you a giagantic monitor, I'll be more than happy to send you a magnifying glass. That should help you at least until the end of 2008.

After that time, I'll do some research to find you a seeing-eye dog. Any particular breed that you are partial to? nono It sure is tough to get old, isn't it?

It's 0300 hours, and I finally read the latest Legacy thanks to a kind member of the CF who sent it to me.

I think Harbour Lights should work on being a little more consistent on such important releases such as the Legacy.
