Postal insurance claims question??? - 07/21/00 04:44 AM
Just got an e-mail from a lady in CA that bought a Fire King egg plate from me.(I'm selling some of my glass to cover my HL purchases.)
The plate arrived broken in half. Now she paid the extra 85 cents for postal insurance. I have never dealt with this before. I have her M/O. She has the box, packing and broken item. I have the receipt. My question is who files the claim??
I figure we can use a copy of the E-bay transaction as proof of purchase price but I'm not clear on the etiquette of who does what. Told her I'd get back to her tomorrow. Has anyone had any experince with claims? please let me know here or e-mail me.
Thanks,
Donna
