No longer a Newbie!

No longer a Newbie! - 06/16/02 04:11 AM

Ok, it's a Saturday night, my fiancee is out of town, and I'm having a nice quiet night at the house. I figured since I had nothing else to do, I'd rack my posts up to 50, and lose the Newbie tag. A few years ago, sitting home by myself on a Saturday night wasn't very appealing. Now I kind of enjoy it. Top it off with the fact that I've got tomorrow off, and I'm downright giddy! Anyway, I'm finally a Wacko (officially).

Well, Jared, allow me to be the first to congratulate you on this august occassion. Now when the fiance comes home you can proudly announce "honey, I'm Wacko!". I'll look forward to hearing about her reaction.

Dave, I'll go ahead and say that, but she's already well aware of it.

Congratulations on becoming an official Wacko Jared! I wouldn't spread it around too much, people will start to look at you strange! (LOL)

Doughnuts, doughnuts, doughnuts. Congratulations Jared, but the new WACKO has to bring the doughnuts to the party.

Is anybody a "newbie" anymore? I just consider everyone a WACKO in newbie clothing.

Anyway; CONGRATULATIONS.

Rich

Without my knowing it Jared, I celebrated your new status by buying KK donuts and eating a couple in honor of new Wackos.

Congratulations and may you enjoy many more posts!

I've been around for a LONG time, more or less, but am still considered a "newbie" - fortuately, it doesn't bother me....but congratulations for achieving a milestone -

Yes, it's such a significant milestone, isn't it?

Congrats!! Being a "Wacko", I too was told by my better half that she already knew it.

Leave to a Hoosier to brag about being home alone on a Saturday night, and becoming a WACKO (isn't that redundant?). And having another Hoosier congratulate him, within 40 minutes?
Seriously, congrats Jared, it is a biggie!

Yes, Bob, but we had been at the Old Michigan City Light Saturday. As part of my saintly duties I try to check the forums each day, and I certainly could not allow a fellow club members accomplishment go without acknowledgement.

Now, Jared mentioned that his fiance was out of town, so he did the gentlemanly thing and stayed home rather than go out and hit the party circuit.

After all, "the hum" was keeping me awake and I decided to do something productive......
