Hereford Fourth Order Lens-Lamp

It was brought to my attention by Daniel that Harbour Lights produced a very limited edition of the Hereford Fourth Order Lens-Lamp produced by Boston Light Company. It supposedly retailed for around $250.00 and had an actual Hereford Fourth Order Lens with a lamp attached to it. This was sometime in/after Aug. 2006.

I actually saw the lamp at St. Augustine but did not remember it until Daniel reminded me. Does anybody have additional information OR possibly have the lamp or a picture of the lamp?

Or if someone has a old lighthouse depot magazine for 2006, Rich could get the picture from that.

My Memory tells be there were four lamps with different Fresnel lenses but I cant remember for sure. Does anyone remember?

I found a picture of it.
It is in a full page insert in the 2007 Harbour Lights brochure. The product number is HOM 002 and is overall 21 1/2" high. If you don't have it i can email it to you.

Paul - I found a picture of the lens in a brochure. It may not be as good as your picture but to access the above site you have to register and I have a phobia about sites such as this because then I start getting all sorts of spam emails. If you have a picture and can email it to me or post on the Forums this would be good.

I love it! Wish there were more around.

That is a beautiful lamp. The shade is even a nice compliment to the lens.

I wish I bought one of the Hereford Fourth Order Lens-Lamp produced by Boston Light Company.
But for 250 I put it off until they are non available .
