Quality Resource Books??? - 07/10/04 11:49 PM

What are some good books on the market for lighthouse history with quality photos? I have some on my NC lights, but I want something on other lights as well. It seems like some stuff is dated or limited only to the same old lights over and over. I want the best for my $$$! I am looking for quality info on lost or endangered lights and good pictures of lights in general! Thanks for your help in advance!!!!

For endangered lights, Tim Harrison and Ray Jones' "Endangered Lighthouses" can't be beat. Great info, great photos. However, it is a couple years old (copyright 2001) so some of the lights have been lost frown , some may have been saved smile , and there are new additions. Nonetheless, it can't be beat. Get the companion books, "Lost Lighthouses" and "The Golden Age of American Lighthouses" too! laugh
