What a photo!

While this could have gone into several forums, I chose to place it here in the General Forum. I get an email newsletter from Popular Photography Magazine each week, and this fascinating photo was one of the features in today's edition. It would make a magnificent print - think about the fundraising possibilities for the light.

It's great except for the 15 to 18 degrees.

Yeah, it was pretty cold the last couple days. I think it was -0 with the windcill factored in the night this photo was taken.

Pardon my ignorance, but I not only don't know which lighthouse you all are admiring, but I don't see ANY lighthouse in the 'photo' at all. Please educate me.

The photo is a "photo of the day", so you have to back up to 'December' 5, 2012 (yes, they goofed on the date - the ones before and after do show January.
