Toledo Harbor - 12/24/08 05:43 PM

I recently acquired a Harbour Lights replica of Toledo Harbor. The top of it is scratched up some what and appears to be from the packing material. Has anyone noticed this with there HL179?. Is it intentionally scratched up from Harbour Lights?

This is Harbour Lights attempt at showing age or stress on their pieces. Mine as well as yours looks like there are plenty of seagulls that have roosted here.

Does anyone know if they ever got the dock in place out aat the real Lighthouse? I was down there twice this year and we couldn't go into the light because it was not installed.

It sure is a great light to see in person.

Somewhere recently I saw a picture of the new dock area.

Oh so they did get it installed, finally! I would have liked to go into the light, ah..maybe this year, if the funds hold out.

According to the Toledo Harbor Lighthouse Preservation Society website, a ramp, dock and lift have been installed.

I checked my Toledo Harbor Lighthouse and it also has the "scratched" roof. The realism is great as long as they don't ad the bird droppings to make it the real thing.
