Macquairie Harbour Lights - 08/16/02 01:33 PM

Can anyone tell me why the edition size was supposed to be 9500, but the piece was retired at 5,608? I was just curious. My wife and I came across a couple of them on clearance yesterday and the salesperson didn't know.

Thanks

Harbour Lights began a '3 years-and-out' program a few years back. If a limited edition has not sold out after 3 years on the market, it is automatically retired at the end of the third year.

At the end of 2001, items introduced in 1998 were retired that had not 'naturally' retired.

Welcome to the Forums. You've just seen the most valuable part of these Forums. Ask a question and it will be answered. Maybe not the way you wanted it answered, but, at least you will get a truthful answer. Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself so you can fit in to our family.

Thanks for the quick reply and all the help. My wife has been collecting Harbour Lights for about 5 years now and has slowly drug me close to her level of addiction! We live in central Missouri, not close to lighthouse obviously, but enjoy taking trips to see them. I'm glad we found this forum.
