wife's "HOOKED" - 05/13/00 05:07 PM

I"ve been on this site for a little while I collected other Lighthouse won't say which ones so I won't get blasted. I always liked the Hl's but the wife said they were to expensive. Beside the ones we collected had more of Michigan than Hl's.

Well we were looking at them one time and I said they sure looked nice!!!!!!!!
My birthday was in April and she got me the East Quoddy Xmass edition thats all it took we now have 5 all together with more to come, last night we were at our store for Lighthouse stuff and were looking at the Hl's and out of the blue she said pick one out I looked at her shocked!!!!! but didn't question it quickly picked out Mukilteo.

WE only buy the lights that weve seen were way behind though!!!!

Larry,
I am glad she is "hooked" for your sake! Collecting will be a lot easier with the wife hooked...

Nice of your wife to buy you an HL for Mother's Day, Larry!

Happy Belated Birthday, soon you'll both stop thinking about how much they cost! Hey, it's only money. (Now where have I heard that before? )

Larry,

The next step is to convince her that it's "her" collection rather than yours. It's worked wonders with Mariann. Now I get to buy "her" Harbour Lights for every holiday and other gift-giving occasion.

It's a real benefit to have your spouse directly involved in collecting HLs. Then you can always say, "Honey, look what I bought for us this week!"

Hi Larry,

MJ and I have shared the joy of collecting Harbour Lights since 1993. It all started with "1" (because we had visited it), St. Augustine. Now we plan our vacations around areas where we can visit more lighthouses. We have met some wonderful people with the same interests and are pleased that this site is here for all of the collectors that are "hooked", like the two of you.

I'm glad that the two of you enjoy this hobby together, it's alot of fun, I know!!
