Ok - some folk's computer systems are not playing MP3 files over the Web through the Forum from the FSB off the Oil House ... nothing but Net.
Err, where was I? Oh, yes, here's something to check:
Start Button-->Programs-->Accessories-->Entertainment-->Windows Media Player.
View-->Options-->Formats
Now, scroll down the list of formats until you see 'MP3 Format Sound' - put a check mark in the box next to this option. Then click Apply, then OK. Next hold down the Shift key and click your browser Refresh button, or press F5 if you're using IE, to test the MP3 sound file playable on this Forum page.

P.S. Make sure your sound system is turned on, speakers plugged in, volume set, etc. etc.
Wanna great sound card? Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.

Two more things you check:
1. Try clearing the cache in your browser. If you're using Internet Explorer that is: Tools-->Internet Options-->Delete Files (under Temporary Internet Files)
2. Make sure there is a music player associated with the '.mp3' file name extension.
From Windows Explorer: Tools-->Folder Options-->File Types
Scroll down the list of file name extensions looking for 'MP3' (list should be alphabetical). If there is no program associated w/ this extension, or you want to change which program is, click 'Change' and select the program. Typically you'll want 'Windows Media Player' unless you've installed an alternative such as Winamp.

Nope, still doesn't work. Though it was about time that I cleared my temporary files - hadn't done that in about 5 months!

Yep, Newegg.com is where we bought most of the components to build my son's new computer at the beginning of the year. The FedEx guy told me he had seen many packages coming from them and asked me if they had good prices.
