You, Judy and others on the CF's have really gotten me interested in Life Saving Stations; I'll have to put them on the list of sites to visit in the Outer Banks. Any plans in the works for a facelift for Bodie Island Life Boat Station?

A suggestion: on each page, you need a link back to your home page and to the LSS key page so that when you provide (or Google leads to) links to individual pages, visitors can find the whole wealth of information your site offers.

You might be able to make a 'mass change' by adding these links to your 'masthead'.

I can only tell you at this point that the NPS plans to move it and restore it. The hope and talk is that it will be moved over to the area across the highway where the Bodie Island Lighthouse stands and become part of the historical complex. The Outer Bankls Lighthouse Society also hopes to be involved with this.

I don't have a timetable, but will share news as it unfolds.
