13th Annual Door County Lighthouse Walk
May 19, 20, 21, 2006

WILD Events FRIDAY May 19, 2006

Green Bay Yacht Club, Green Bay, WI 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Grassy Island Range Lights Open to WILD members for exploring and climbing.

WILD Events SATURDAY MAY 20, 2006

WILD Meeting & Dinner 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Featuring Authors Ken & Barb Wardius – book signing
“Wisconsin Lighthouses A Photographic & Historical Guide”
This book is a comprehensive historical guide with 138 pages, full color, features 48 Wisconsin lighthouses, with directions to and current status of each.
(book will be available for purchase)

• Dinner will be Door County Fish Boil or Broasted Chicken
Sandpiper Restaurant & Gift Shop
Baileys Harbor, WI 54202
Registration for dinner Required. Contact Suzanne Murphy for registration form.

Socializing in the evening at the Birchwood Meeting Room
Friday and Saturday evenings after the Walk events are over for the day, there will be get-togethers in the 1st floor meeting room at the Birchwood. Please feel free to bring snacks and drinks for yourselves and/or to share.

WILD Events SUNDAY MAY 21, 2006

Pottawatomie Lighthouse meet at 7:45 a.m. in the Birchwood parking lot. We will car pool to and on the Ferry to Washington Island. We will then take the Karfi ferry to Rock Island, and then hike to Pottawatomie Lighthouse.

Suzanne, this is another one which I hate to miss. The outing to Pottawatomie sounds pretty terrific! Is the book available for purchase by mail? Maybe after the signing?
