I was digging through my archives tonight and came across this shot I took in Mackinaw City for the first North American Lighthouse Festival in August 1999. I do believe it was also the first time for the Shepler Ferry Lighthouse Cruises that are now taking place throughout the summer. Are any CF members in this line?

Mabye that's Herm and Mary nearest to the camera. Can you upload a larger image that could be panned?

How do I upload a larger image? I don't have hosting space and the limit size here is 600 pixels...?

That's Jakers in white shirt/tan pants with camera bag (back to camera) and his dad Paul is the taller man in front of him.

Is this Jakers, too? Matt took this shot - my friend Jaci, me, and this nice young man we befriended, and then Jaci's husband Brian. I've been wondering who it was we talked with that whole cruise and couldn't believe someone so young was that interested in lighthouses!! Look at how SKINNY I am in that shot! That was before 18 pounds of two kids!! LOL!

Here is a link to the full size version of the above first posted photo. This file is 3MB and if you are on dial up, it will take a few minutes.

That's NOT Mary & Herm after all. (And I apologize to Mary and Herm!)

Don't forget with Windows XP, rest your most on the picture, an icon will appear in the lower right of the image. Click on that icon to expand the picture to full size.

Jen, that is Jakers. Educated guess would be the ship depicted on his shirt is the Edmund Fitz since that is one of his favorites.

John,

Splain your instructions again, please. "Rest your most on the picture" needs clarification.

I believe it is "rest your mouse on the picture"
Actually it should be "rest your cursor on the picture"

On a Mac running X you just click on the image and it goes to full size, no resting involved..

In Win XP, if the picture can be expanded to a larger size, when you place the cursor on the picture an icon will appear at the lower right hand corner (this does happen on the picture Jen linked to). If it can be expanded, it shows an arrow at each corner of the icon pointing outwards. When it is at full size, the icon will show the arrows pointing inwards, meaning it can be contracted (shrunk).
