Wow, that's orange! It's like the sky is made of Tang!
Amazing photo! Your shots are the best I've ever seen of Tillamook. Fantastic!

Beautiful Picture! I've always been fasinated by Tillamook. Some of us from the TBHLCC flew over it at sunset when we were on our West Coast Tour.

Very nice, I wish there could be more close-up shots of this lighthouse, from what I've seen it is a beautiful and unique structure.

Thank you for all of the kind comments! I sure enjoy taking these too..
I'm heading to the coast tomorrow morning at 3:30 to catch sunrise, and probably will be there with my two business partners until well after sunset. We should be hitting Yaquina Head at sunrise, Yaquina Bay - kind of a tough one to find good compositions on, (but I have some ideas), and then perhaps Heceta Head for sunset - (maybe even Umpqua River if we go far enough south). I'll let you know what I get if anything good...

I figured I'd post the only clear close-up phto I've found of the light. I can't remember where I found it, but here it is:

wow! That is about as close and clear as I have ever seen it. It sure takes on a whole different mood when viewed up close.
