What better way to start a New Year than by going to see and photograph a lighthouse. Sharon and I, along with our daughter and grand-daughter (who loves to go to lighthouses with her PaPa) decided to drive down to Point Judith. The weather was lousy as it started to rain as soon as we neared the lighthouse, but we still enjoyed the trip and got some pictures.  Point Judith Light in the rain.  Another view of Point Judith with the Coast Guard quarters in the background.  The beautiful 4th order Fresnel, (original equipment, I believe) was in good spirits even in the rain. Bert

The Coast Guard was quick around the holidays Bert, when I visited the day after Christmas, there was a large wreath hanging on the side of the tower nearest the Quarters building. Point Judith continues to be my favorite light and I am lucky that it's near my daughters house, so I get to visit often...Jim

Great pics Bert, I love the little ligthouse finials on the top of the gallery rails! Point Judith is a real favorite of mine, but which Rhode Island Lighthouse isn't. Boy that was a great 2nd Reunion!!!
