Beaconfollower and I took a trip down the Hudson River today to see some lighthouses. It was a beautiful day for it and we were lucky enough to see three of them and go in two.

This is Saugerties Lighthouse. It was not actually open but the lady let us walk through it anyway. Nice lighthouse!! That is "beaconfollower" on the porch.

This is the back of Saugerties.

Here is Rondout Light - this was one that the Coast Guard wanted to get rid of and it was recently sold/given to the town of Kingston. We went inside this one and Saugerties.

This is Athens-Hudson Light and this was as close as we could get to it. Wish I knew someone with a boat!!

Thanks for sharing! I wonder if I'll ever get to see some of those lights, so the posts are important to most all of us. Nice Pictures.
