While checking out that auction, Bob, I thought I would see what else was up for auction at this time.. Something almost as rare as a CH1 is now posted a First Harbour Lights Button plus the 1st Brochure..

I think the winner of the bid is trying to corner the market on CH-1. I beleive this is his 5th or maybe even 6th win on ebay for the CH-1.
Just when I thought the price was coming down.

I saw that Paul, and was wondering how rare. I think I have the original brochure that I got way back when on ebay but don't ask me where it is. lol Button looks familair but I'm sure I saw that in one of the guides.

Yes, Daniel he seems to be buying everything in sight that might be rare. Must have won a 'big' lotto? He's paying Large.

That button is extremely rare... First of all they didn't give out that many at the show and most of the ones they did give away weren't to HL's collectors, so they probably weren't held on to.. Plus HL's didn't keep the extras like they did with that brochure, they found a couple of bundles of the brochures a few years later and gave them out to collectors at a regional or two if I remember correctly..

It also is the only button that HL did in that size, the next year they went to the larger size and have been making them the large size ever since..
