Starting bid $300 for all 12 of the little lights from John Hine studios, apparently by the owner of the store in England that was selling these and Pharos Collections in the past.

ooohhh... I wish... just paid for the trip to California in March and can not pay for these right now... SHAME !!! Good luck selling!
They are lovely items and well made - I think.
We already have two (Lognstone and Lundy) and we love them!

John you are a good salesmen. There are now two bids and they are from the same person. I woulddn't mind a set of these also, but I have learned self-contol.

John Hines Little Lights

Note that the seller says "We are now offering a few remaining sets." They will be selling more than one set.

John
With that information you just might have thrown a bucket of water on a hot bidding war.
But you have to ask yourself. Does Mark mean sets as the sets of twelve or does he mean sets, as there are more of one for sale. I take the meaning the same as you, John. But sometimes there are minor translation problems with our friends across the sea.
One other thing. Mark copied this description from the British Isle collection. Did mark properly edit it or did he overlook the wording “and are now offering our few remaining sets.” When Mark first offered the British Isle collection on ebay. He started them off on a bid then when they didn’t sell he sold them as Dutch. This may be the same way with the little lights.

But do you bidders want to take a chance?

It doesn't seem like any water was thrown on that collection. With 20 minutes left to go the bid is up to 422.00+. NOt a bad deal (for the seller) for 12 little light.

Unless I miss my guess that lucky person is a member of the forums.

He doesn't come here much but he does contribute valuable information upon occassion and is a great contributor to NELL and other organizations.

My guess is that anyone that bid on the John Hines studeo Little lights would know about this forum. When I emailed Mark questions conserning the Little Lights he always dirrected me back to this forum for more information.

Dennis,

You are absolutely correct. The winning bidder is a member of the forum and also a proud member of NELL. Congratulations to the winner.

Considering what the shipping(free) is, this is a real good deal!

Seller has additional sets available and will sell at the auction win price. He'll list them on eBay if they don't sell privately. I have his email address should anybody want to contact him.
