Roland's mother passed away on Friday according to his Facebook status.

Thank you everyone so much for your condolensces. Mom was 90 and is now once again with Dad who passed in 2004. She was the last of our parents as Karen has lost her father while a teenager, then her stepfather in 2001 and her mother in 2008. That now makes us the generation as the one which needs to lead the family and provide the youngsters with wisdom and guidance. The torch has been passed, I hope we are worthy of the responsibilty.

Roland and family,
The next days and weeks will be heavy on your heart, but in time the memories will be a blessing to all of you.
There will be past happenings that will bring a smile to your face, and will warm your heart. And you will look above, and say, "thanks Mom"!
My mom's passing of two years ago is approaching, and I feel your sadness!
