The birth of our second grandson Leon Immanuel is now imminent. They are inducing labour and any minute now.... ... can't wait!
Shame they are so far away and we can't be there!

You are well on your way. As a vetern grandmother I can only say what my mom told me - she said she didn't spoil them on HER watch (that is if she was babysitting which she did for some extended times), only when I was responsible for them and she could hand them back. Actually, she didn't really spoil them at all.

BTW, for all us Imperialists, measurements in pounds and inches (because I was trying to figure out what they were)...5.67 pounds, 19.29 inches...very healthy!

That, I think, is one of the best thing about grand kids... you can have all the fun and spoil them, but mom and dad have to deal with the diapers etc.

Congratulations Stan and Margret!! As a grandmother also...they are such a blessing! Spoil them,love them and play with them often. It keeps you young and brings out your second childhood...makes for great memories when they get older! And do please post a photo...so we can all oooh and aaah!
