I'll be the one at the Jacksonville Regional wearing a Florida Gators blue cast on my left leg. Who said that mowing the lawn isn't dangerous to your health. I took a step Friday while mowing the lawn and that was all it took. A broken bone in the outside of my left foot, 2 weeks off from work, 4-6 weeks in a cast and no mowing the lawn for 6-8 weeks(the best part). The only saving thing about this is the doctor had "Gator Blue" cast material and what else would he have had living only 30 miles from the University of Florida.

Man, what some guys won't do to get out of mowing! We hit 85 here today and tomorrow we're supposed to get rain so our grass will be growing too. I think maybe that Gator Blue must be the color of choice now as when our neighbor's grandson broke his leg this winter his cast was also that color. Kind of tough to sign.

It was 80 degrees here yesterday. It's warm right now but the temperature is going to take a big dive tonight. Tomorrow's forecast predicts a low in the 20's and a high in the low 30's, complete with snow, sleet, and freezing rain.

We're skipping Spring this year and going straight into Summer in a few weeks.
