Check out the Lighthouse Depot web site. They have all Harbour Lights at 60% off, BUT, they also have a selected group of 12 lighthouses at 80%-85% off listed under Harbour Lights Blockbuster Sale. If you buy any of these they are all $14.00 each. Cheaper then Ebay! I don't care how mad you are at Harbour Lights, if you need or want these pieces and don't buy them you are "cutting off your nose to spite your face" as the old saying goes.

Well I just put all 12 in a shopping cart and they quoted 18.99 to ship them to me in Minnesota. Works out to about 1.58 each, so $15.58 per piece.

Now Anchor Bay has been added. There's no better time to "buy 'em if you like 'em! Unfortunatly, don't need/want any of these!

This morning I spotted 3 different low number older lens on the LHD site for $22 each. Before I could confirm the order 2 were no longer available.

Bummers !!!!!!!!!!!!! (keeping my vocabulary clean)

One thing for sure. We can thank Lighthouse Depot and Harbour Lights for making our collections virtually worthless at this time. Perhaps in a galaxy far, far away somewhere in the future (probably not mine), they will once again be worth something.

Whoa Nelly..... Many of us wondered what happened to all those "limited edition" "exclusive" Jordan Point, VA (HL805) pieces....

Apparently the day (Wednesday, April 11,2011) has finally come for these babies to have the same fate as many, many other HLs from LHD. Another one is added to the list of being dumped.

The warehouse cleaning continues.... YIKES!

This definitely shows they have no idea what they have in inventory. The list price is $45 which we all know was not the case. Should be some more surprises in future. I got a FASTNET for $14 last week.

Wow. I got 2 Jordan Points this week along with some others last week for $14. Of course I feel taken on the ones I paid retail/close to retail that are now $12-$18. You win some and you lose some.

In the past month I ordered a Point Fermin HL501 (1st year HLCS piece) and a Sea Girt HL509. When they arrived, they both were edtion number 2. I was absolutely shocked since I thought the Founder's Collection pieces had been wiped out. I am keeping a close eye on the website because you never know what is going to pop up.

Randy, you are absolutely correct about "you never know what is going to pop up"!

The warehouse is littered with goodies and many of them are going out the garage doors without many people not even knowing what "gems" are still lurking....

Just received a No. 3 Fort Washington, MD (HL901) piece the other day for $12....

One of these days, you will see all those HLs pieces that were in several curio cases in the Lighthouse Depot store disappear and go "Poof" too (if they haven't already).

I just gave my 5 year old granddaughter the Pacific stamp set. $18 instead of $100! I knew she would like the box too. She is going to have her brother paint a big lighthouse on the wall in her room. She told me she will be old enough to go see lighthouses with me when she is 6. That should be great fun.

I don't beleive the Society pieces were offered in the Founders collection. Some were released for sale in a Harbour light random sale.

Daniel's correct. In talking with Tony around the time of the Founder's Collection (F.C.) offerings, those buyer's who purchased enough of the F.C. to receive a certain # below #11 were to have first chance to obtain their # as additional collections of #1-10 were offered. These additional collections that might follow the original F.C. Limited Editions would be such as Society Editions, Anchor Bays, Fresnel Lenses, etc.

I believe the only F.C. pieces #1-10 besides the L.E. lights that were ever offered for sale in the past were the Anchor Bays.

Thanks for the info. I may have missed or forgotten about the GLOWS. Many of the GLOWS were my favorite reditions of lights. Would you have any idea where I could access the GLOW Founder's Collection original offering you speak of?

Thanks!

Max

So, for fun, I ordered another Point Fermin, #501. The one that came this time was number 6. Absolutely amazing.

Ordered another Fishing Battery and it was a smaller number than the one I received during society redemption. Whats up with that?

Finally ordered a LS Relief and for the first time ever, I had a piece arrive damaged. Boat was detached from base, dock had pieces broken off. LHD is sending a new one, after it has been checked before leaving the warehouse.

While sad to see the continuing drops in prices, it ssure does help to build out the collection. I think I am only missing 10 limited editions now because we stopped buying all of them a couple years ago because of space concerns. With no more additions to the line likely, I am looking for those to finish the collection.

Daniel--Thanks for the original listing of the GLOW's!

You wondered what happened to the 600 GLOW's in the original Founder's Collection. Well, here's some of them:

On Saturday, May 26,2012 Lighthouse Depot sent out an email listing 38 of the A1 GLOW's and 4 GLOW's (A2-A10) of the Founder's Collection they have on sale @ 40% original retail starting May 30.
They have been taking requests for pieces desired since their email. There
are special ordering directions for these.

Thanks for the up-date on the Founder's Glow's. I wonder why Lighthouse depot never sends me email? I have bought from them.

I guess HL focused on the limited editions and tried to sell what they could sell. Now its the Glows turn.

I wonder if they will sell very many?
Is anyone interested in purchasing?

I have also purchased from LHD and never get the emails either.

I've always considered GLOWS the same as LE's.

I would have been interested in some of the GLOWs.

I buy GLOWS. I tried to pick up Port Isabel but no reply back from HL so I guess I was not fast enough. They should try to be more customer service oriented as they shut down. Go out with dignity!

If you are really interested in buying this piece, call them at 1-800-365-1219. They take orders over the phone and someone always answers. I have found, and still find, them to be the most customer friendly people there are. If you want unfriendly, try calling HP and getting some nice friendly people. I think they want MEAN when they hire.

Perhaps that is a direct line? When I call 800 all I get is a call center. They do call back but I figured email was easier.

The 800 number I gave you is Harbour Lights. The only time they won't answer Monday thru Friday is if they are in a meeting or a holiday. I believe their hours are 8 AM to 4 PM.
