I wonder if anyone else has taken notice of this, or if anyone has any input. It seem there was a lot of clamoring for an Alaskan piece from Harbour Lights. Along comes Eldred Rock, with a very small edition size, (the same as the highly sought after 5th Order Fresnel) and yet, no one seems to be overly interested in it. There's not the same pursuit on E-Bay, and I seem to see them all over. I'm sure the die hard collectors all have their's, but it seems there's still plenty out there for the pickin'. Anybody have any idea why?

I think it might have been a very vocal minority making the most noise for an Alaskan piece. Personally, I wasn't one of them. I did buy it as soon as it came out because I liked it (especially the shipwreck; that was a nice touch) and because of the scarcity factor.

I think it'll be like the Panama Canal set. I was surprised by how long Miraflores and Gatun Locks were available. But lately they seem to be getting scarce. It takes time.

Size might be a bit of an issue, too. Eldred Rock is small. People may not think the size justifies the price.
