We took a day trip to Lancaster, PA today to go outlet shopping (I needed new shoes and some pants). I stopped in the Harbour Lights dealer, just to see if they had any bargains. They are always marking stuff down.

I perused the first couple of shelves and then the third one. Then I did a double take. There on the third shelf was none other than....... MISPILLION, DE !
eek I thought to myself, "It's only February 29. This isn't due until April. I have one on hold with my regular dealer. Oh jeez, they are an hour drive away, and it's here now."

Hey, Lady, I need a Harbour Light!

She told me she only ordered two, one for a regular customer and an extra. They came in yesterday. I ended up with the display unit (#347) that she put out last night. I told her to order more, because she was now out of stock.

Now, Larry, I know you're not complaining that a light showed up early! Hard to believe the piece made it all the way east before one of the Forum Family realized it. Congratulations on your find.

The Hemmings picked their Mispillion from their dealer on Friday and were displaying proudly when we stopped by their home on Saturday (yesterday), so it has made it to Indiana...

I miss the days when I use to visit every HL Dealer I drove by. It was always nice to find that special piece or special flag# while I was out hunting down HL's to fill in my collection.

Half the fun was finding special pieces. Once you have a complete collection, you go into a maintenance mode usually through autoship. Not quite as much fun as hunting them down.

I bet you had a big smile on your face when you saw that piece in the case, Larry.

I just had a message from my dealer that Mispillion had arrived. I am looking forward to this one as we had the opporotunity to visit during the Baltimore reunion not long before it burnt down. Another nice surprise that he mentioned that Bill Younger might be visiting Colorado Springs in November.

Went my dealer's today as she had called that Mispillion and Indian River had arrived for me.
Both are beautiful pieces. Will have to be very careful with Mispillion though, I can see damaged pieces in the future for this one if folks aren't careful with the mast of the sail boat.

My dealer called last Friday that it was in, and I went right down and picked it up. Nice piece, and yes, it's always nice to get them earlier than expected.

For all those of you that got the piece ahead of time, COOL! cool I have yet to see it, and may never knowing how my dealer never restocks.

I guess HL doesn't have any embargo on the pieces. laugh

Hey Greg,

Contact Maureen down at The Lighthouse Gallery.

She'll have it on your doorstep the next day, and probably a low 3 digit! She won't charge for the shipping either.
