Harry,

As far as I'm concerned, the answer is NONE.

Just kidding -- I have absolutely no idea.

2002
Fort Tompkins spring regional 5
Fort Tompkins summer regional 5
Fort Tompkins fall regional 5
Fort Tompkins winter regional 5

Mark Twain store event –tower 100 to 130

2003
South East Block on the move regional 22
St Clair store event 100 to 130

Can Harbour Lights provide us with the exact numbers?

Daniel, where did you come up with the diamond covered Saint Augustine and Relief? I don't remember hearing about those. There will be 3 special Three Sisters pieces, one with the birthstones of each of the Younger daughters.

There is 1 diamond trimmed St. Clair tower, and it belongs to one of our Forum members. There are probably a few more of the SEBI on the Move gold pieces - wasn't one given out at the Block Island event?

From 2000, there are either 10 or 20 gold Eddystones. (I have seen both numbers used.)

Daniel...

I'll see whether I can squeeze those numbers out of the home office folks.

There are no regional event pieces with gems. You refer to them as 'diamond covered', but what they have are a few small gem-quality diamonds in the panels of the lantern room 'glass' panes. Only one of these from 2003 - won by Ron Foster.

This year's piece d'resistance will be the gold plated 'single sister' that is given out as a store event prize... except that it will have 4 gem stones. One diamond and one birthstone for each of the Younger's 'three sisters'.

At least that's my understanding. Dave, do you recall it differently?

Who will win this year's? To be announced.

(While not a lighthouse and you couldn't WIN one, don't forget the "gold" Golden Gate Bridge.)

I guess that I too have maybe misunderstood how this years (2004) "Special" gold piece was to be. As I understood it, there would be three "Special" gold pieces. One would have Rubies in the lantern room windows. One would have I think it was Topaz stones in the lantern room windows. And I can't remember the last one. But anyway each one of the three would have a different stone, one for each of the three Younger Daughters (the three sisters).

And the way the winners of these three pieces is to be picked is that the names of all the gold winners (store signings) for the year, are to be put in a pot and three names pulled from that pot. So to be eligible to win one of these special pieces you would have to win one of the store signing gold's first.

Isn't this wright????

I probably shouldn't have even taken a shot at the gemstone thing. It seems so far away for a chance to win something with gemstones that I didn't listen to all the details. I thought that Kim said that the winners of the St Augustine Gold had a change for one with diamonds. Maybe it is that they have a chance for the three sisters with the gemstones.
As I am thinking more clearly about the three sisters. I believe Kim wanted diamonds in the three sister and someone else wanted rubies.

Stephanie, I think you are right.

At the events held Nov 20 & 21, what I remember Bill saying was that every person that won a Gold 3 Sisters their name would go into a drawing for a special 3 Sisters. Each of his daughters would draw a name and for that winner another Gold would be awarded and it would have the daughter's (that pulled that winning name) birthstone in the lantern panels.

Dave
I remember back when one was being auctioned by a lighthouse club and didn't they claim that Bill said that there was only two of the Gold Eddystones made?

I can personally vouch that there are more than 2. One was given at Rosemont in 2000 and I do believe we gave another one away in Door County last May. In my advanced state of mental degeneration I am trying to think one was in the box of stuff given to the Alpena Festival people this year. And, I know where 4 more reside.

Was at the St Augustine lighthouse event with Bill younger.
He said there will be three gold sister each with the birth stone of each daughter.
July November and December birth stone.
