It's been all quiet in new release land...... I wonder when we will hear about the next batch of Harbour Lights ???

Cape Annie's says they will be posting them this Saturday.

There out there ! Interesting that several of them are pictured only in the artist drawing.

I am buying two for sure maybe three.

There is an "interesting" story why there are no images of the product HL389, HL391 and HL726 currently available. Someone had a trip and the original sculptured pieces were destroyed. I trust the second rendition will look similar to the first!

Some very nice looking pieces here. I think the Gurnet (Plymouth) twin lights takes home the prize for this round of new releases!

I still don't see my Mark Island (Winter Harbor) light released yet. Perhaps the 2011 Christmas piece. The campaign continues......

I'm very pleased with 2 Michigan lights in the summer releases! That's 28.5% of the new releases from Michigan. Thanks HL !

CAVR--don't delay in telling us the story about the destroyed sculpted pieces!!

I wouldn't use the word "nice" when referring to what happened to several of the original sculptures, Tony termed it "Disaster Struck!".. That is basically the whole story, some masters got crunched and had to be redone which has put things behind for the Summer release..

I am waiting on HL389 Key Largo, HL391 Delaware Breakwater and HL726 Sturgeon Point (2010 Christmas) paint samples to shoot the images of them.. They changed a couple of numbers from the original information, Christopher.. Crooked River is now HL390..

I will start on the close-ups of the ones that I have tomorrow..

Thanks for "heads-up" on the numbering change. I have made the above list reflect those changes with a notation of their former number, as those numbers are listed on certain printed material.

Shouldn't be long till we hear the 7 new releases are at our local HL dealer.

Also shouldn't be long till we get the word on the limited LLOM Hooper Island and CS Shincock Bay pieces.

The LLOM Hooper Island is here. I received an email from Chesapeake Chapter of USHLS requesting payment.

My dealer called today and said my summer release pieces are in.

Got our summer release shipment late today. We'll be shipping out tomorrow!!!

I've gotten no word on any of these, but there's always tomorrow !!!

Received my Gurnet yesterday. Very well Done Thanks again to the crew at HL who continue to outdo themselves.

I don't generally read the Certificates of Authenticity and just slip them into the sleeves of books I keep related to the items.

I did, however, read the one on Gurnet as I didn't know it was originally twin lights. I was a proofreader/typesetter in another life and was dumbstruck on the number of errors on that C of A. I can't read the name of the person that signed off on that C of A, but s/he really has to pay closer attention to sentence structure and spelling. Spellchecks only help with incorrect spelling.

I got a email from my HL dealer yesterday. I'll be heading over there this weekend !!!

My Sturgeon Point, Key Largo, 14 Mile point and Crooked River lights arrived today, and they are as beautiful as any Harbour Light ever was! I am delighted with each one, and can't wait for the others. As I suspected, 14 Mile Point is my very favorite, but the call is closer than I imagined it would be. Thanks to all who brought these lights into being, and thanks especially to Roland for his understanding and compassion.

Received my LLOM Hooper Island, #20 & #500 this week. Very nicely done!

My 6 LEs came Wednesday and they are keepers. I wish that 2 of them were a lot smaller as I had to reinforce the floor in my den to support them, but other then that, I'm very happy with them.

No thanks needed. One day at a time.

Recieved the 2 pieces I ordered, Sturgeon Pt. and Gurnet, today from Cape Annies! Beautiful pieces!
Also, I ordered an Hooper Island piece a while ago and have not heard from them and can't find their contact info!! Can someone help????
