We received great news in the mail! Bill Younger will be giving a speech at the Evangel Methodist Church in Rochester, Minnesota on March 7, which is a Tuesday, at 7:30p.m. This is open to the general public and is sponsored by First Mates Gifts in Lake City and the Southeastern Minnesota Collectors Club. Any forum users planning on attending? Please say so here! We would love to meet anyone from the forums there!

That's great news for Minnesota collectors. Bill is a great speaker and he will share his insight of lighthouses & their keepers with you. He will be coming to Wisconsin on Saturday April 30 at the Wind Point Lighthouse to speak at the Harbour Lights Collectors Club - Great Lakes District meeting. I wish your meeting was on the weekend, I would've drove up to attend. I'm sure you'll enjoy your meeting.

As a follow up to this event...
Bill arrived promptly at 7:25 with the regional rep and set up in the basement of the church. The event was well attended by about 30 collectors. Of those 30 collectors only 4 collected Harbour Lights. Bill gave a really great talk on the importance of Lighthouses and the origins of Harbour Lights. He then fielded some questions from the audience. However, our excitement rose when we realized he was going to give away 6 full size sculptures, 12 LLOM, 2 calenders, magnets, t-shirts, and a mouse pad as door prizes. Bill picked me to help hand out all the prizes and the smiles on everyones faces were great to see. Mindy won Old Mackinac LLOM and I received a calender, both of which Bill signed. The generosity of Bill and Harbour Lights amazed everyone and I'm sure made a few of those people HL collectors!!!
Jim what time is Bill speaking on April 30?
Maybe Mindy and I can drive over and do a little lighhousing and see Bill once again!

Hey....does anyone know if Bill is going to make it to Massachusetts or Rhode Island? Minnesota is a little far to travel for me.  Bob
