Extremely interesting pics, Eskilady! I'm surprised the moving water would freeze like that. It must have been really cold.

It made me think back of a brook in my town called the Scotch Brook. Strangely enough, the Scotch Brook use to freeze from the bottom up in the coldest of winters. Ice would form on the bottom and the water would continue to run over the top of the ice. Eventually it forced water and ice to overflow its banks. Kind of weird but true.
