The Top 5 Places we want to go using the sums of our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd picks (Questions 8, 9 and 10)and making each pick equal were:

Washington -7 4 4 = 15
Oregon -2 6 2 = 10
NovaScotia -3 2 5 = 10
Maine -3 1 4 = 8
Cape Cod -2 1 5 = 8

But
when I did a % of 'first 3 picks' against the total of the 'open category by location' the following was the result.

Washington - 83.33% -15/18
Oregon - 76.92% -10/13
Ireland - 60.00% -9/15
Maine - 47.06% -8/17
All NE - 45.45% -5/11
California - 40.00% -4/10
Cape Cod - 40.00% -4/10

This shows that people who picked the place to go were serious enough to commit to same place in their Top 3 Picks.

Example:
Washington had 7 first places, 4 second places, and 4 third places in overall choices of where you want to go for a total of 15.

Washington in the West Coast Question 1 had a total of 18 votes.

Therefore 15 of the 18 people who voted for Washington in Question 1 thought enough of that selection to rank Washington in the Top 3 Choices in Questions 8, 9, and 10.

We'll do a follow up poll in the near future
