Some may be confused by the numbers in the URL address. This is the "IP" which identifies the server on the Internet. A number of changes had to be made before moving the site from it's old to it's new server. We kept "www.harbourlights.com" pointed to the old server while updating and adding items to the new.

Now we are ready to go and have asked the web hosting company to send the word out on the Internet that "www.harbourlights.com" should point to the new IP. They say it will take 1-3 hours for all nameservers in the US to be updated, perhaps 24 hours for the rest of the world.

After this IP to domain name change, the IP will still work to find the domain. So you can set a favorite place or a 'home page' marker to the IP URL and still get to the domain.
