If you go back and edit your post down at the bottom it puts a message like:

[This message has been edited by engbrady (edited 10-3-99).]

If you do this more than once it can look like this at the bottom of your post:

[This message has been edited by engbrady (edited 10-3-99).]

[This message has been edited by engbrady (edited 10-3-99).]

[This message has been edited by engbrady (edited 10-3-99).]

If you don't want anyone to know that you have re-edited your message over and over, just delete the previous "edited by message" before saving and there will never be more than one message at the bottom of your post.

I edited this several times to prove the point that only one message will appear if you delete the earlier ones before saving it.
