RezmanDale Member Joined: Aug 1999 Posts: 934 Globe, AZ	More "then and nows" would be great! I just got back from California and saw Ano Nuevo Island lighthouse from shore. It used to be a beautiful victorian house, with a short skeleton tower on the high point of the island.b IN 1948 it was abandoned and replaced with an automated bouy just off the Island. Elephant seals have overrun the house. I got a great postcard showing the current state. Would be a very interesting piece. It shows what can happen if preservationist don't step in to save the lights that we are loosing to decay. Dale
