Philip Reinish 58171 - Oak, it also comes in Whitewashed Oak, and another color as well. If you plan on using all 7 glass shelves and the bottom for the 8th, one has to plan nahead and keep tall HL's together and short ones together as well. I've elected to use only 6 glass right now as it allows me to group all my FL houses together. It can easily hold 7 per shelf and one could squeeze in 10-11, but they would be crowded on top of each other. I'm really pleased with the case and its quality and that's a good reccomendation coming from a custom furniture maker!
