Until we get the uploading issue fixed, I will just upload a couple of images from our 10th lighting of the Christmas lights at the Old Michigan City Lighthouse/Museum... First is a group shot of those who braved the windy cold conditions, then the 2nd image will show the added lights this year to the lighthouse..
I had the best time seeing old friends and visiting the lighthouse in the snow. Great party! Thank You for inviting me! It was probably the coldest weather I've ever been in and the first time I've ever seen REAL snow! But it was GREAT!!
Can't wait to see the rest of your picture Paul.

God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece.
In addition to Fun, Food and Friends, I showed a slide-show of over 400 images that ran 26 minutes of the first 10 years of the Hoosier Lighthousing Club Events and Meetings..
Sue and I also gave each member of the Club a DVD of the slide-show to take home with them..
I believe the head count at the party was 39 people..
These pictures are great and as always it makes me wish I had attended. At least I was able to get a DVD of the last 10yrs of the Hoosier Club (since I am a member) and I must say Paul outdid himself, it was truly AWESOME! You all do so much work every year to make OMC beautiful. What a great group of friends.
Here's to all of you...Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

That's the Quilting Kat, Kat Waterson, who is a member of the Club and the Forums.. That's her on the right holding the Quilt up.. She has done some beautiful quilts over the years as money makers for the Club..
One image that I forgot to post earlier is the ceremonial flipping of the switch, turning on the Christmas Lights at the lighthouse for the 2010 Christmas season by the new Director, Laura, of the Michigan City Historical Society..
It was a great party, and so much fun seeing everyone again! My Grandson Gio climbed his first lighthouse that day, and Autumn climbed her 8th Lighthouse, I believe!
It really was a great weekend, with people from 8 states attending (IN, MI, OH, MO, WI, GA, FL, AL). Really great having friends from such an area gather for the weekend. Lots of time spent socializing, especially with the addition of our hospitality room the past year.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Cindy Cole and Shellie Breen for the terrific work they did in putting together the 10th anniversary HLC Christmas Gathering of Friends...it was awesome!!
