I think you may be correct--a right-facing head and body and left-facing curled tail can be seen in your photos. If the pictures showed the piece sitting on a table, the seahorse would be lying on its back with its head facing the bottom of the flag.

Again, I don't collect open editions and can't determine if you are, in fact, right. Hopefully one of the CF members who does have access to Cana Island, HL 460, will check and let us know by posting here.

Can anybody help Dave locate the seahorse on Montauk Point, HL 405? His posting is above 5lights (Deb's).
