Looks like you had the makings of a pretty day, Barry. The tower is going to need a paint job here pretty soon judging by the apparent discoloration. Thanks for sharing - look forward to seeing some more pictures.

Nice sky! Ours is grey here...funny to think that 40 miles away and a few hours ago what a difference there was. I see that the stain is coming back...hopefully they can get another coat of paint on there before it gets too bad. I have a photo here of it in 1999, with a smiley 9-year-old Greg in front of it. I'll have to dig it up and have my mom scan it at her office for comparison. Nice shots! Can't wait to see the rest of them!

I don't think I have ever seen a lighthouse in person with snow around it. I love the contrast with the leafless trees and snow on the ground. Thanks for posting Barry.

Lorrie, LIghthouses with snow around them is quite nice. Up until last year I hadn't really taken any pictures of lighthouses in the snow. BUt now that I've started I hope to get out there often. We've got plenty of snow in sosuthern New England right now. So if you're interested, this would be a great time to come to New England and snap away. Bert
