Thought I'd pull this topic back up- I finally got a scanner and printer -the epson 2450, and after much research, a Canon i950- a great combo if you don't need anything larger than letter size. It goes full borderless, and the results are GREAT!! My prints are as good as some of the lab stuff, some are better. I couldn't be more pleased. The printer was $ 222.00 at Amazon, free shipping, no tax! I think it's a great buy
