Here's a fun one. Let's see how many lighthouse names we can list with numbers in them. One post person/day.
I'll start.

Two Bush Light, ME Don't ask me , I found it on page 69 of "Legendary lighthouses" by John Grant and Ray Jones.

Two Rivers North Pier, WI on Lake Michigan. Our merry band of Wackos visited this light on the pre-Rosemont expedition a couple years ago.

She was a Chesapeake Bay lightship who served until 1919 but am not sure if she was scrapped. She was stationed near the James River in VA.

Yeah, I forgot the name of the lighthouse at first. Well as I said, it's long gone!!!! I've known about that one for a long time thanks to Mike, the Lightkeeper. Here's a link to his site which features this light as well as the other Hudson River lighhouses past and present. http://hometown.aol.com/thelightkeeper/HudsonRiverLightkeepers.html In the fall of '99 we located the area where this light was and a house that may have been the keeper's house. My first link is a neat site as it takes you along the Hudson pointing out all the historical sites. This is a good game, Greg. You're doing a nice job here.

Sue, I found your log from a trip to the St. Lawrence area several years ago recently, and read about going to Nine Mile Point. It looks like quite an adventure!

Doubling Point Range Light just past Fiddlers Reach Fog Station on the Kennebec River in Maine.
Its not exactly a number, but it is mathematical in nature.

Wow, I didn't even think of mathimatical variations or numbers in the middle of names. It's OK with me...adds another dimension to the game. How's this: Five Islands Light, NS http://www.lhdepot.com/database/uniquelighthouse.cfm?value=1008
