February is already underway. Have you turned the page on your lighthouse calendar? What's the picture for this month?

Mine is Darlene's favorite - Tight shot of Mulkilteo's Lantern Room.

Mine is a Gladstone long, skinny calendar. ISBN 1-891-702-90-4.

At Barnes & Noble, almost all 2006 calendars are now down to $1 each -- from $12.99 in this case. Better check those "bargain tables" and "last chance carts" at your local bookstore. 12 nice photos on this one.

I'm afraid I don't have a lighthouse calendar this year. Mine is scenic views for the U.S.A from the Disabled American Veterans.

This month is a view of Ha'ena Beach on Kauai Island, Hawaii.

November and December feature lighthouses.

My calendar is a home made thing from my grandson. And this month's picture is of the "Roter Sand Lighthouse" off the coast of Germany.
The Lighthouse Directory has some inforamtion about it in English

I have to keep 3 calendars in my office so that I can easily see prior, current and next month. So I hang 3 lighthouse calendars by different printers. I get triple the viewing pleasure laugh

Prior (January)= St George Reef

Current (February) = Point Robinson with Mt Rainier in the background

Next (March) = aerial view of Lobster Cove Head in Newfoundland & Labrador Canada

I need to go by B & N for a desktop ligthouse calendar - if I can find one. I have two wall calendars, sent to me free annually from the Sierra Club (an ice covered Black Oak in Yosemite) and from the International Campaign for Tibet (Tibetan traders in their tent enjoying a bowl of butter tea and tsampa). I love both but miss my lighthouses.

I've got the same Gladstone calendar as John. I've been getting them since 2002 as Christmas presents from my little brother.

I've also got an Oregon one (the one I posted about about a month ago) that's a very nice shot of Coquille, and a Mid-Atlantic one that's a badly-centred but nice shot of Ocracoke.

I have just a few calendars...though a few years ago, I actually had four, plus a non-lighthouse one. eek

At work, I have a daily lighthouse calendar, a weekly lighthouse calendar (Great Lakes photos by Darryl Beers), and two monthly calendars. One monthly calendar has Bodie Island for February, the other calendar has Bill Younger in front of Michigan City Pier Light (Hoosier Lighthousing Club calendar).

At home I have Great Lakes Lighthouses Calendar with photos by Darryl Beers. February is Whitefish Point.
