OK fans, here is the newest round of post card exchanges. This exchange will be limited to 25 players plus the Youngers (HL) plus Connie Small. That means you will need a total of 27 cards if you want to keep one for yourself. Cards are to be mailed inside an envelope so that they remain "pristine". Feel free to include other goodies, pictures, and especially a write up about the light you chose and perhaps why it is special to you.
For other general guidelines or information about the exchanges, you can see this thread .
If you have not participated in an exchange with me, or if you have a new address please email me with your screen name as well as your good old snail mail address.
Several folks have indicated they are going to be traveling, but wanted to be included in this exchange. Thus, we have the following participants:
2. Joanie O 3. Linda Ann 4. Larry
The next person will be participant #5.

It really is IN envelope. Unfortuunately, the one thing we can't edit is the thread title.

Ok, I took advantage of the postal savings (guess I'll invest the difference in some WorldComm or Enron stock!) and sent my cards on Saturday. But, they are still not actually arriving till after July 1.
Hope they are ok.

It's from Eileen & Dave Dunlap. they not only took advantage of mailing before the increaes- they must have cleaned out all their old stamps- the envelope has a $.02,.10 and a .22 stamp on it.
The card is a nice view of Point lookout Lighthouse, MD. It came with a nice little history of the area and the Park.

Received 3 envelopes today. Thanks to Paul Brady (so do you get a discount for your own postcard photography!!), Cape Elizabeth from Linda Manning, and the Truro lighthouse (oops mean Fire Island, but since I just saw MIBII, I get those two confused. Hee hee!!! So, is there room enough for a post office in the keepers quarters?) from Sanddollar. Also thanks for the Nubble light goodie!! Boy, I do so like these exchanges. Always such fun and you never know what is included when it is in envelope. Thanks for making what was pretty much a hum drum Monday truly fun and exciting!!

The Hoosier Lighthousing Club produced two postcards for the Old Michigan City lighthouse to sell. The Club is also selling them when we go to events, I paid full price for the cards to help the lighthouse, so the postcard exchange just helped the Old Michigan City lighthouse.

Checked my mail box for the first time in over a week today, and found two cards! One from Eileen and Dave Dunlap and one from Linda Manning (thanks for the book mark, Linda!)
Mine will be out in the mail sometime this week.

I received Shirin's postcard of East Point Lighthouse today. What a coincidence - we will be at the Jersey shore next week and plan on visiting that lighthouse on July 21 when it will be open.
Thanks for the great postcard, Shirin!

The Brochure for this year's Lighthouse challenge is the best one yet.
I'm hoping to be at one of the Lighthouses at least one day that weekend.
It's a great event if you like lighthouses. It's a way to get into some lighthouses that are not open often (Like East Point, Finn's Point, Tinicum Rear Range, Sea Girt)
Try it you'll like it.

Stephanie's card came in the mail today. Thanks for the extra info. I loved the picture that you enclosed of the lighthouse. It sounds like the four hour drive is well worth it! The Texas stamp was a wonderful touch. I've been admiring those but didn't want to buy the whole sheet. Thanks! Terry
