I have only attended one regional event which was the one in Portsmouth VA a couple of years ago. Was nice because my family home is just across the way in Hampton and I was able to combine the trip with a visit with my family. Had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed begin able to enter and climb Old Point Comfort, a light that I had seen numerous times as my husband was stationed at Ft. Monroe. What a thrill to be able to climb that light!

A couple of regional's a year would be nice, with advance notice so that I could try to save the $$ to go and ask for the time off from work. I would like to be able to go to these events, but seems there is always a conflict of one sort or another, or I don't have the $$ at that time.

I will miss the signing events, that is where I really grew to love HLs, meeting Bill, Nancy, Kim and Harry!
