Nancy will be at Ponce Inlet this Saturday 11/06. She is supposed to be there between 10 AM and 6 PM. The light will be relit between 4 PM and 6 PM(Members only I am told). Is anybody else going?

Oh how I wish I could! So close, yet so far away! I am in Jacksonville right now, could be at Ponce in just a few short hours. But I board ship Sat. here in Jacksonville for a 5 day cruise. I will wave at you all as my ship passes by!

I forgot my camera as I was hurrying to leave the house at 0830 to drive over to Ponce and be there by 1000. I was supposed to be back in Ocala by 1300 so didn't have much time to visit. Rip stayed the day so I'm sure he got some information. The crowd was small for the short time I was there so I was able to get 20 pieces sign. Nancy met someone that went to the same high school in Daytona that she attended so it appeared to be like a homecoming to her. They gave away some prizes during drawings but I don't think a gold was given away. One day I will win one of those I hope. Just one will be fine with me. That all I've got to say.

I'm confused. You said that they were "relighting" the light. Has Ponce been dark?
