Got some good news from the Scottsdale Mayo Clinic today - a brain MRI and another test of my thyroid done on the 15th both came out negative -- well POSITIVE, nothing wrong. [And before some of those WACKOs say so, they DID find a brain.]

Totally unrelated, but on the bad news side is that I'm not going to be able to make the trek to Cape Hatteras for the unveiling of CHOM and the climb to the top. I'll miss out on meeting all the WACKOs in attendance. I've been hoping and wishing I could get there, but it's not to be.

Paul Brady will be shooting digital and 35mm photos of the events and we're trying to arrange a hook up so we can get some of his shots on the site a few days after.

I still hope to make it to Rosemont and perhaps one of the regional events.

Me too John. Hope you're feeling better soon. I really was looking forward to meeting you at Hatteras. I don't get to many events. I leave this Sunday after my college graduates on Saturday, fly from Portland to Detroit, drive to NJ and then South.

And after Hatteras, we're goin' to Disney World. Well, that's what I tell my wife and daughters. I'm actually going to the Bronze Lady and pick up a Beckoning Beacon.

Seriously, get feeling better soon John. I'll catch you someday.

We just spoke to Rich Rohweder and found out that you had been going through the testing. I, Karen, have been feeling pretty crumby myself and we haven't been to the Forum in sometime. We had no idea you were feeling poorly. Praise God for the good test results. What great news that they found a brain!

We were all so hoping that at the last minute something would happen and you'd be with us at Hatteras. But it's not to be, so you know we'll catch you at the next reunion.

Hi John! Glad to hear that all of your tests showed no negative results! Working in the medical field, I know that waiting for test results can be some of the longest time ever spent! John: Henry and I have just returned to NH and turned on the webtv. We received an e-mail from Lamar today mentioning your medical problems, so I have just tuned in here to the Forums. We have been off-line while traveling from South to North, so did not realize you were not feeling well. Being one who has gone through MAJOR testing and survived a cancer operation, I know how tense the waiting can be for the results. We are both so happy to hear that your results are on the good side and hope it stays that way for you.

We weren't going to Hatteras, but will be at the Milwaukee Regional and sure hope we will get a chance to see you there, in great shape and ready to visit those beautiful Wisconsin lighthouses (my home state).

Great news on the test results John. Thanks for all the great updates on Atlanta. Sorry you will not be at Hatteras but as another post here said there are plenty of other towers to climb . Until Rosemont just kick back and take it easy.
