Thanks bright eyes...I selected a few travel booklets for the Door County Lighthouse walk. I look forward to reading them when they arrive.

To whom it may concern:
Be you all hereby advised that FredKuhl - 'The Ancient Mariner' has booked into the Birchwood Lodge (or whatever kind of wood it is, - where's Sean's beaver when one needs him) for the Door County Walk (old man shuffle?). It is not yet too late to find a false face or some disguise so the old guy won't recognize you. I was going to suggest that it's not to late to pull out but I know this affair will be sooo exclusive (everyone is invited) and sooo much fun (in spite of the fact that I'll be there), that I wouldn't want to do or say anything to hold you back.

For you newbies and new WACKOs of only a few years, if most of this sounds like ramblings of an old coot, you may be right. For those of you that have listened to me all these yo many years, some of this might actually make sense.

I, for one Fred am happy you are making the trip!
For those that do not know Fred, take time out to get to know him. You'll not be sorry.
For those that do, let's give him some moral support on his trip to the midwest in the Spring.

Fred, I could not be happier that you are making this trip... Up until now I was not sure I could make it there, but now I need to work harder on making plans to go. Hope to see you there.

Fred is a wonderful person and if you have not had the privilege to meet him be sure that you do when in Door County. I'm sure we will be tracking him cross country when he starts his adventure, so stay tuned.
